Portsmouth, NH, March 3, 2010 – Clients who attended BID2WIN Software’s annual User Conference last month were the first to witness an exclusive presentation by President Paul McKeon and Vice President Dave Todaro detailing the company’s plans for a dispatching product. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the company’s existing products BID2WIN and BUILD2WIN, the new solution will allow clients to manage the movement and availability of equipment and employees for all job sites.
“I think the introduction of the dispatching product will be a great thing for BID2WIN Software and their clients. It will fill a void that many companies face,” said Randy Twehous, Vice President of Twehous Excavating Company, Inc. in Jefferson City, Missouri.
User Conference 2010, which took place February 08-11 in Boca Raton, Florida, also featured several types of educational training, including FAQ round table and top ten style sessions, as well as hands-on, instructor-led labs. As always, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance from BID2WIN Software support and training personnel in the Software Solutions Center, which housed over 100 PC workstations and hands-on lab exercises for both BID2WIN and BUILD2WIN.
“The conference was excellent,” said Terrence Pasemko, Estimator and Project Manager at Waiward Construction Management, Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. “I did not realize how user-based the software is! I was quite surprised that in the middle of a session, when someone would suggest something, it was asked if people agree and notes would be taken for changes in the program. I could not believe that a software company listens to its users to that extent,” he explained.
Perhaps most significantly, however, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to network with industry colleagues and build morale among their teammates, an aspect of the conference which is especially critical during the recent economic downturn.
“Being able to brainstorm issues or successes with other companies in our industry from around the country was insightful!” explained Michelle Mason, Estimator at Royden Construction Co. in Phoenix, Arizona.
The BID2WIN Software team received a great deal of valuable user feedback, which will be immediately researched and considered for enhancements to both products in the upcoming year. Plus, the User Conference team will use attendee and client feedback to begin planning the next event, the dates and location of which will be announced this summer.
