Business Development Representative

BID2WIN Software is an established, financially sound company with no venture funding or long-term debt. Founded in 1993, BID2WIN Software is the market leader providing enterprise-class construction management solutions, including estimating and bidding, field management, logistics and dispatching, and equipment maintenance software to the infrastructure construction industry.

BID2WIN Software is looking for experienced, dynamic, energetic, and committed individuals to be part of a recently established Business Development team located in their newly expanded Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility. The primary focus of the team will be to create new opportunities through aggressive outbound calling and marketing campaigns.

Duties:

  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities through internal and external channels.
  • Research and profile accounts including mapping of company’s organizational. structure, identify new contacts, understand key business drivers, and competitive landscape within the account as well as size of opportunity and funding.
  • Engage prospective customers to create excitement and interest in BID2WIN Software.
  • 40-50 calls per day, equating to 10-15 contacts.
  • 5-7 new opportunities identified per week.
  • Close a minimum of one new deal per month.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency and initiative to accomplish job effectively.
  • Achieve a solid grasp of technology and marketplace.
  • Attend industry trade shows and Annual User Conference.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics/CRM.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of five years selling software and services B2B.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Articulate, professional, and highly enthusiastic.
  • Experience with formal sales processes such as Solution Based Selling.
